Nimra grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and resides in Toronto. She received a BA in Psychology from McGill University, and currently works as a Visual Artist and Therapist. Her visual art has been published in The Living Hyphen, Her visual art has appeared as cover art and internal illustration in Existere, untethered, and re:asian, amongst other publications. She has displayed her work at the Anticafé (Montreal), the Fridge Door Gallery (Montreal) and Slackline (Toronto).

Manahil is a Pakistani artist and writer, based in Ottawa. She is the author of two chapbooks, Paper Doll (Anstruther Press, 2019) and Pipe Rose (battleaxe press, 2018). She was the 2019 winner of Room magazine's Emerging Writer Award, and is on the editorial teams of In/Words Magazine and Canthius.
